what tools can i use?
strudel, sonic pi, tidalcycles, or any other algorithmic music software you like, AS LONG AS you're able to track it with Hackatime or Lapse.
if you choose to use strudel, please use Lapse to track your time!
what resources can I learn from?
for strudel, the documentation and examples are excellent starting points.
Additionally, Switch Angel on YouTube is amazing at Strudel and has a lot of livecoding videos you can learn from.
what do my four parts need to be?
there is no restriction on what your four parts need to be! to start out, you can use drum, bass, a lead, and variation.
how long should my song be?
your finished song should be at least 30 seconds long.
how many submissions can i make?
as many as you want!
can I use ai?
ai is not allowed! usually ai music tends to be super corporate and generic. your human slop on the other hand entertains me!
